Live Lambing
Step into the heart of spring and experience the magic of lambing season with our Live Lambing Event this Easter. Our Pedigree Herd of Shropshire sheep can’t wait to welcome visitors eager to meet their adorable new arrivals during the lambing period.
During your session, you’ll enter our polytunnels for an up close look at life inside the lambing shed. Watch pregnant ewes rest, see newly born lambs bonding with their mums, and learn how the flock is cared for during this special time of year. If nature is on your side, you may even witness a live birth.
Sessions run on:
Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th March
Wednesday 1st, Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th & Monday 6th April
Wednesday 8th, Friday 10th, Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th April
Times: 11:30am and 2pm each day.
To reach the sheep, visitors will enjoy a short, scenic 400m walk from the farm shop across a grass field, an opportunity to take in the beauty of the farm as winter gives way to spring. For those wanting an even more hands on moment, a fee of £2.50 paid on the day allows you to bottle‑feed our orphan lambs, alternatively online tickets can be purchased that include lamb feeding for a discounted price.
